Psychology assessment services for all ages, including testing for Dyslexia and Intellectual Development Disorder
The assessment process for dyslexia and other learning difficulties for children, teens, and young adults has several stages. These include questionnaires, interviews, interactive one-on-one testing, and a feedback planning meeting.
The testing session usually begins with a chat and some games (for younger children). Most of the testing is done using iPads, which children enjoy. We take breaks for snacks and movement.
The tests focus on both academic skills and mental processes.
Our fees for dyslexia assessments and other learning assessments range from $750 to $1,950. We offer transparent pricing, so you will know the fee before you begin the psychological assessments process.

Yes. We work with adults who already have a Dyslexia or other learning development diagnosis and need updated recommendations and supports, as well as those who suspect they may have Dyslexia or another learning disorder.
Our services include comprehensive Dyslexia assessments, learning assessments, and psychological assessments to better understand individual needs.
We work in partnership with SPELD SA at their office at 2/259 Glen Osmond Rd, Frewville SA.
We sometimes carry out testing at schools or alternative venues such as clinics and community centres close to you.
We also offer video or telephone appointments for certain parts of the psychological assessments.
Regional South Australians including those in Port Lincoln, the Riverland, Mount Gambier, Yorke Peninsula, and Kangaroo Island are warmly encouraged to contact us about assessments for Dyslexia, learning assessments, and psychological assessments.
We don’t offer full diagnostic assessments for Autism.
Our focus is helping you understand how your child learns.
However, learning challenges and Autistic traits often go hand in hand. If we notice Autistic traits during the assessment, we will share this with you, We will discuss the pros and cons of seeking out additional assessment, and will help link you to appropriate services.
Attention challenges often affect classroom learning, so this is one of the things we look out for.
If we notice a pattern of concentration difficulties and/or a high need for movement, either during the testing session, or through the information you share, we will talk to you about it.
We can offer formal screening for ADHD to help you decide whether to seek further assessment through a paediatrician. Or, we can carry out additional testing that will allow us to make a diagnosis of ADHD if relevant.
